My Story
Hey, I’m Morgan, hairstylist, salon owner, and unapologetic art lover. My career in hair started later than most. At 30 I realized the corporate life was not for me. I needed something that felt more authentic. I wanted a career that aligned with my love of art, something sculptural and hands on, where I still could build connection with others while also giving me the autonomy I desperately wanted. That all led me to now.
When I opened Salon RebelRebel, I wanted to build a space that didn’t feel like a typical salon. I’ve worked in places that told you to fit a mold, but I wanted the exact opposite. I wanted a place where individuality isn’t just accepted, it’s the whole point. RebelRebel is built on creativity, independence, and genuine connection. It’s where clients and stylists alike can show up as themselves, laugh too loud, and feel completely at home while still being surrounded by talent and artistry.
Outside of the salon, I’m almost always creating something, whether it’s painting, throwing clay in my studio, or redesigning a room for the fifth time because I thought of a better layout. I’m drawn to art that’s tactile and real. Ceramics, interior design, anything that makes a space feel lived-in and loved.
I share my life with my husband Zak (the steady hand behind my big ideas) and our two Dobermans, who are equal parts chaos and comfort. We love exploring new places so we travel whenever we can, never forgetting to find the local golf courses along the way.
For me, doing hair is an extension of all the things I love most: art, connection, design, and the freedom to create something that feels authentic. Whether I’m sculpting clay, styling hair, or building a space that inspires others, it all comes from the same place, the drive to make beauty feel personal, meaningful, and a little bit rebellious.
